Who are we

The “Strada del Tartufo Bianco d’Alba nel Basso Piemonte” (Road of the White truffle of Alba in Basso Piemonte) has been set up with the intent to make the most of, nationally and internationally, a gourmet route of great prestige and charm over a decidedly vast geographical area encompassing the provinces of Alessandria, Asti and Cuneo.

The “Road” is a network of businesses (hotels, restaurants, shops selling local produce, etc.), of public bodies (Province, Region, Municipalities) working together to promote the area. Since its foundation ( in January 2005) over 100 operators and public bodies of the Provinces of Alessandria and Asti have joined the association, and today the “Road” is for all practical purposes a Tourist District.
